I woke to a flooded first floor from an expander tank that may have been leaking for days. I had no hot water so went down to look into my furnace room and I had possibly over 2 inches of water running out of the furnace room down a hall, into another room and even under my washer and dryer into my garage. Knowing Mainline Plumbing from previous years, I called them immediately. I believe they were at my house within 45 minutes the latest. After taking maybe 2 minutes, unfortunately for me, the new was not good. I was on borrowed time with my furnace.
To make a long story short, Mainline gave me a quote, told me what had to be done, how they would do it and most importantly when they could start it. All their answers were what I needed to hear so that I would have heat, hot water and peace of mind. They actually started that afternoon bringing in some of the pieces of the new equipment they were going to be installing.  Let me say this was the Friday of the long weekend. John, the owner, looked at his crew and asked who wanted to work this weekend? Not one of them said no to his question.  They worked until Sunday maybe mid-morning and I was back with hot water and heat and sanity!!
They were in constant touch with me as I had to go away overnight. I never worried about his team being in my house without me. I knew when they were coming, what they had done while at the house and when they were leaving.
I needed help with my Nest that Monday morning (which was the holiday) and they were there straightening it out for me maybe 20 minutes after I asked for help.

Last Year Mainline Plumbing put in a Constant pressure water system installed. Work started and completed on time.  Very pleased.  RecentlyI had a problems with a leaky faucet and they provided me with a money saving suggestion.  Rick came out in a timely fashion and repaired it. I reached out to John from Mainline to help get a PFAS system installed for our home after looking into the rebate process for filtration systems.

The install was fast, communication was great, and ultimately we were able to get the refund on the system fully funded by the state.

While they were there- the team also installed a water softener, new filter, and fixed some issues with my boiler.

The only real anxiety was related to the process of getting the rebate approved since it takes several weeks- but the majority of paperwork was handled through the Mainline team.

Two of my neighbors highly recommended Mainline Plumbing, and after having them complete our home project, I can understand why.

They completed a full installation of a new Rinnai combination boiler and water heater system and a complete well water treatment and filtration system.

Each component was installed carefully and integrated properly into our home’s water system.

I had a wonderful experience from start to finish! They were incredibly easy to communicate with, always prompt and responsive, and extremely knowledgeable. I had a new water treatment system installed to address PFAS, hard water, and several other water quality concerns, and everything came out wonderfully.

I really appreciated how much time they took to explain everything, answer my questions, and make sure I understood the system. Their in-depth knowledge and the care they put into the entire process really stood out.

I started experiencing what seemed like lower water pressures in my home, even though the pressure gauge on my well tank didn’t seem to change. I called and was treated very courteously and efficiently by Autumn, who arranged to have John stop at my home that same morning to investigate. He found several problems in the plumbing involving my well tank (including a faulty gauge), informed me of what he felt were all the problems (and costs), and was willing and able to remediate the problems while present. Within a short period of time, I was reconnected to good water and pressures. The entire process was very smooth and comfortable. All of my concerns and questions were answered by either Autumn, who asked many questions about what I was experiencing and relayed that to John, or by John himself who took the time at the end of the repair to explain and assure. Great experience from start to finish!

Our well pump was short cycling, so John came over to take a look. He explained that we would need to replace our old well tank and well pump and gave us three options to choose from, ranging from the least to the most expensive. The price was reasonable and lower than some other companies had quoted us for a job like this.

The replacement went very smoothly and took them only about 1 hour and 50 minutes from arrival to completion. They explained how everything works, answered all of my questions, and even recommended some water testing to consider in the future.

I also want to mention Autumn, who handled the phone calls and scheduling - she was awesome! She called back quickly, answered my questions, and was very helpful and pleasant to work with.

Like most people, know one wants to make that call to a plumber unless you have to. But if you have to make the call, go with Mainline plumbing. You come home from work and you find out that there's no water coming out of the kitchen sink. I make the call and Mainline is at my house at 8:00 the next morning. The diagnosis is made and all options are discussed. My pump was dead. I updated my whole system. Mainline completed their work before I got home from work that same day. In a period where you can feel like your just another number when it comes to customer service,  George and John at Mainline made me fell like I was the only customer. Woke up to no water this morning, and my wife called Mainline. They had a team out to my house within an hour. George and Conner were very professional and quickly determined that the pump in my well was malfunctioning.

They came prepared with everything they needed to get the water back on quickly. They answered all of my questions and clearly explained the different options I had. At no point did I feel like they were trying to upsell me or push me toward something I didn’t need.

John and his crew did a great job installing a whole house carbon filtration system for PFOA/PFAS removal from our water. They even managed to squeeze it into the existing footprint of our radon and water softening tanks. Since we already had been reimbursed by the state for an RO system, we had to pay out of pocket. Fantastic experience with John and the Mainline crew.  We got home from a weekend away to find our furnace was not working.   We were able to touch base with John on Monday and he immediately came over to review our situation. By the end of the day Tuesday we had a new furnace installed.  John was amazing to work with from start to finish.  Very professional, friendly, efficient and they left the work area clean! John responded to my emergency call for loss of water pressure late Saturday afternoon, and after running through the details for how the issue presented, he gave me some direction to address the immediate problem. He followed up on Sunday morning and after reviewing how our pressure was, came to our home to address a broken pipe at our well pump.

We upgraded some 30 year old piping entereing the home, added a sediment and carbon filter to remove cholorine and added an outside line to the pool house to neaten up the hoses outside. I can't give John enough credit. Last fall, Mainline did a complete new installation for a water pump and constant water pressure system. Everything was great until the Friday night when we totally lost all water. I reached out first thing on Saturday (also need to mention it was the 4th of July) and John promptly responded and helped walk me through resetting the system to get our water back on.

After a few hours, we had the same problem again and John was on his way to fix it. He came out, replaced everything, and at no cost as the equipment was at fault (he mentioned they moved away from that supplier).

They had to replace a big section of the drain for the house and the drain for a toilet. Mike & Connor were great. They assessed the situation and fixed it quickly and correctly. John came out to our house to review our test results and go over the system recommendations he felt would work best for us. There was absolutely no pressure at all when it came to choosing a system. He gave us three different options and took the time to explain the differences between each one, making sure we felt comfortable and informed before making any decision. Very professional throughout the entire process.

Installation day was today, and George and Connor came out. Besides being very polite and professional, they got right down to work.

The biggest thing I can say is that not only did they go over the system several times with me to make sure I understood everything, but they actually left my water treatment area in better shape than it was before they arrived. They cleaned the entire room before leaving.

If you’re considering having a system installed, call around if you want—but make sure your last call is to John and his crew. I can’t say enough about how happy I am with the system they installed for my family.

About a month ago we ended up having a leak in one of our pipes in the basement and another leak coming from the coupling that attached the meter to the line. There was an inch of water on the floor and it was gushing into the house very fast. The town came and shut of the water from the street. Dpw said that the parts that were leaking were the homeowners responsibility (of course that's always how it goes).

The job was a fairly big job requiring an excavator and had a lot of moving parts. John made the whole process seemless and easy and stress free.

I can't say enough good things about mainline plumbing. We were originally planning on going with another company but they had been jerking us around for almost 3 weeks. I called mainline and John came out a few hours later. They squared us away and scheduled us for first thing the next morning. Communication was on point even after the job had been done for a few days to make sure that everything was working without issue. They came in and banged it out in about 4 hours! They also came in about 1300$ cheaper for the job than the other company. The service and quality of work we received was above and beyond our expectations. Had a water tank with a slow leak, called Monday at 8:30am and had two guys show up by 9:30am to assess the problem, and give me multiple options moving forward. Being an old tank, we assumed this visit and what was likely going to happen. Mainline Plumbing has been coming to my house for over 35 years.  This time Mike came over to connect a new sink, install a new faucet, install a new dishwasher and re-install a water purifier machine.  He did an awesome job in every possible way and was just a joy to have over the house.  Mainline Plumbing is the only company I would allow into my house. My boyfriend said he could fix the garbage disposal. He broke it. Called Mainline and they sent Mike E. AMAZING service.  I never knew plumbers were that professional!? The whole appt was great. Just had a wonderful experience with Mainline plumbing. My wife and I recently purchased a house and after having the water tested, we were in the works for putting in a new system to deal with the minor water problems we noticed. After getting quotes from a different company that included replacing my well pump that was only five years old. John came in and saved the day. Not only assuring me that my pump was in no need of replacement but put the entire unit in for well under what I was expecting. I am not an expert in this field, but it was very fair. Especially compared to what I was planning from the other company. They have everything going on for them, very easy going and reachable, competent and reliable people. George did a great job on the install I couldn’t be happier after having a few things go wrong for me the first month of ownership. I was looking to have our water softener + brine tank serviced due to some issues we were noticing.

Great communication from the start.  I sent Mainline Plumbing a message on their website on Sunday afternoon, received an email reply from John almost immediately.  Schedule aligned for him to come out the next morning to check it out.  He was quick to determine that the unit was 30+ years old and needed full replacement (as I suspected).  We communicated via text, he was quick to respond and answer any questions.  I received a quote for the new unit quickly (which was less than a previous quote I had already received).

His technicians, George and Connor, were able to come out that afternoon to fully replace the old unit.  Since I was unable to be home for this installation, John came by later in the evening to show me everything the team did and how it works.

Great support. Emailed on Sunday afternoon and had a service technician out on Monday an hour earlier than expected. A follow up on April 9 2026. I I had a minor issue when I turned on my outside faucets the back pressure shut the system down. I called mainline and they immediately called  me back and gave me instructions on how to reset the system and John the owner even came to my house within an hour and checked on it. Made some adjustments so it would so it wouldn’t happen next spring. Conclusion: Follow up is the most important part of service and John proved that his company will support you after sale. Thank you for the excellent support mainline team!

We had the Mainline team do a good size project for us on March 21. The following was installed: New Well Pump, Constant Water pressure control system, and a 40 gallon hot water tank. They got everything done in one day!😊. John the owner was  great to deal with and Mike and Richard the two plumbers very friendly and knowledgeable! The price was on the high side but it’s worth every penny. As they did a fantastic job! For years we had been dealing with limited hot water and very low water pressure. After installation of the constant water pressure system and indirect water heater. It’s a whole new world. The hot water and pressure coming out of upstairs shower is like jets from a jacuzzi!! We had an amazing customer experience today when George and Connor came to our home to address an unknown water pressure problem. They arrived promptly and were very friendly and courteous. They did some troubleshooting and isolated the problem. George explained (in understandable terms) what options we had to resolve the issue. He made recommendations and guided us to a decision. George and Connor then got right to work. They were extremely knowledgeable, capable and trustworthy. They completed the work expeditiously and were very cautious of keeping our home clean. Mainline arrived quickly to fix the dripping Moen faucet in our bath. The faucet was quickly fixed and now works smoother and easier than it has ever done. In addition, the drain stop handle was jammed. This was also fixed in short order without having to cut any access to the drain from behind the tub.

April 3, 2026. had problems with Toe Touch stopper in tub and water hammer at new toilet, dishwasher and kitchen sink. Mainline quickly fixed the toe touch and installed hammer arresters at the 3 points mentioned. Everything is working great and the loud bangs have disappeared

I rarely post reviews, but after receiving outstanding service I have to give my highest recommendation for Mainline Plumbing.  After suddenly finding I had no water, I called Mainline in a near panic.  Within just a few minutes or my inquiry, John called me back to get some information on my situation.  20 minutes later, he was there to diagnose the problem which proved to be a failed well pump.  He offered a range of options from simply replacing the failed components to beneficial upgrades to my water system, all of which seemed very fairly priced.  Within an hour, a crew arrived to perform the work.  They worked efficiently to restore my water, answering all of my questions and providing information about PFAS remediation system I'm planning on having them install. My in-laws went through Mainline to take advantage of the NH PFAS rebate program and I wanted to do the same. I reached out via their website and received a response from Justice within 24 hours to coordinate a time for a Service Tech to come and take a look and discuss options. John arrived and was extremely knowledgeable and answered all my questions. We scheduled the installation of the PFAS filtration system and a replacement neutralizer tank that same afternoon.

The two team members who showed up - George and Conner - were very prompt and installed the system in a couple of hours. Justice also provided follow up details via email which walked through the NH rebate program step by step, and we didn't have to pay for the PFAS system up front while we awaited the rebate.

My brine tank for my water softener developed a leak and needed to be replaced.  Mainline Plumbing was very quick to respond.  They were here to assess the work needed in 10 minutes after I called.  They scheduled the work for two days later.  They could have done it the next day but I needed time to prepare.  They arrived promptly  on the day scheduled and the replacement of the tank and a rebuild of the control assemble was complete in under 2 hours.
